Angela Cocci worked for many years as a market researcher in the Bogwood area, where she met a wide variety of people. During a focus group not too long ago, Angela met Helen Ziegler, one of the proprietors of Moddities--a trendy retro-modern antique store in nearby Seattle. Helen managed the store with her partner BJ Harwood.

When Angela visited Moddities she was overcome with a strong sense of deja-vu. The antique furniture and housewares reminded her so much of her childhood that Angela became obsessed with recreating the past. When Helen let it slip that she and BJ got most of their inventory at local garage sales, Angela was hooked.

Often accompanied by her lovable dog, Cocoa, Angela spends weekends scouring garage sales for anything that remotely connects her with her past.
BJ Harwood and Helen Ziegler own and operate "Moddities," a popular retro-modern antique store in downtown Seattle. The store specializes in mid-century modern artifacts: furniture and other household items from the 1950s-1974.

The couple met in 1996 when BJ convinced Helen to change the format of Helen's previous store from Mexican-Texan style to retro modern.

BJ and Helen enjoy travel, garage and estate sales, women's basketball, drumming, and badminton (they are the founders of the Bogwood All-Girl's Badminton League).

Actor Dick Nickerson is best known for his role as leprechaun Uncle Angus in the classic 1960s sitcom "Pot o' Gold." He made audiences in 39 countries laugh with his signature catchphrase "begorrah!"

Now making his home in the quiet Eastmoor neighborhood of Bogwood, Dick is a respected commercial announcer specializing in pharmaceutical advertisements and infomercials.

In his spare time, Dick enjoys combing through garage sales and auctions for tiki statues, historical objects, and vintage cookbooks. He is also active in local musical theatre and is one of the owners of the Lockhart Theatre in downtown Bogwood.

Ed LaSalle has the distinction of being the co-creator of the cult 1970s fantasy role playing game "Caves and Beasts" (published by RLF Games) which enjoyed tremendous world-wide popularity from 1978 to 1979. A series of misfortunes and lawsuits stemming from the immersive nature of the game led to the eventual closing of RLF Games in 1980.

Today Ed works in the gaming division of Macrondo Software, a large technology conglomerate based in the outskirts of Bogwood.

In his spare time, Ed collects vintage board games and has a "virtual" game museum on the Internet called "LaSalle's Game Salon." Just about every weekend Ed combs through garage sales on the look out for collectible games.

Recently, he and his original Caves and Beasts co-creator have been trying to update and revive the game for a new generation of gamers.
Clayton and Doris Fenwick have lived in the same house in Bogwood for over 35 years. They have one grown son, Xavier, who heads up a successful Internet company based in Boise.

For many years Clayton was the top paper sales rep for BIPCO (formerly Bogwood Timber and Paper Company), a leading paper, pulp, and wood products company.

Doris is active in several local charities and enjoys travel, cooking, and reading.

This is their first garage sale.
